You will always see us out in our red and white, cheering on not just our team but everybody! UVic has won the Talent Competition the past two years running, and inagurated the Talent Cup as a prize. |

University of Saskatchewan Captain: Sheri Yakashiro Co-captain: Shane Janke Co-captain: Mariel Wellsch Facebook: U of S Law Games Team 2010 Reputation: "Always in for a late drink" The University of Saskatchewan team has trained long and hard for this year’s Law Games. They’ve stayed up past 10 o’clock, had at least a beer a day, partied all weekend long, knocked a ball or two around and even got into some arguments just to prepare for the moot. We may not have trained hard for the sports, but we know the real competition starts afterhours. It may get below -40 during the winter, but the U of S students know how to keep it HOT. It’s cold, it’s flat, it’s boring, and it’s home ... but we fucking love it! |

University of Manitoba Captain: Tina Petrick Co-captain: Amanda Faulkner Facebook: U of M Law Games Team 2010 Reputation: "Easy on giving you their room number" Coming from the great prairie plains, the Manitoba Law Games Team embodies the traits of the mighty bison; we’re wild and horny. Face it, there’s only one thing to do when it’s -50 Degrees C… and it ain’t study! Despite how cold gets, we never turn down a cold Fort Garry lager or a shot of rye to num the wind chill. We’re ready to shed our layers of winter wear, play like the Jets, party like our profession demands, and chant TURN UP THE HEAT! |

From dodge-ball to floor hockey, from the academic competition to the pub crawl, UofT is prepared to do what it takes to win. UofT will be bringing the Blue back in a major way so be prepared for some fierce competition in all aspects of the games! |

Osgoode Hall Law School Captain: Candi Gogar Co-captain: Laura Salvatori Facebook: Osgoode Hall Law Games Team 2010 Reputation: "Because bigger is always better" Osgoode Hall's reputation for being the biggest extends beyond just the amount of people we let into our law school. Our delegation has been in serious mental and physical training for the past two years since an unforeseen strike prevented us from attending last year's Law Games. We are ready for our triumphant return to the grand city of Montreal so that we can prove...bigger is always better. |

Queen's University Captain: Kate Kahn Reputation: "All about the bounceback" Queen’s Law is so excited to be participating in Law Games again after missing out last year. A few of our delegates were lucky enough to participate in the 2008 Games, and have come back to Montreal to relive the wild times! The rest were drawn to this experience by both the crazy tales from our previous attendees, and the opportunity to play and party hard with law students from across Canada. We plan to be the last to leave the bars and the first to hit the fields/courts, because nobody bounces back like Queen’s Law. Puke, rally, WIN. |

Constantly fighting against the city’s boring reputation, this year’s delegation will demonstrate the energy needed in order to finally break with the tradition of finishing second and return victorious in the federal capital with the cups in 2010. |

Often mistaken for being a school full of overachieving assholes, the McGill delegation is here to prove that they are indeed NOT overachievers. With a returning motto of "M-C-G-I-L /We're so drunk we cannot spell/ McGill" this group is bound to be one of your party favourites. |

Sherbrooke University Captain: Lina Bollella Reputation: "Mean machine" This year’s Law Games organizing committee tried to dub us as “flirty”. We admit, last year we were nice and flirty. Blending in was the key to our survival with a small delegation of 14. Don’t you worry, our true spirit is BACK! Beware: We DON’T like cute songs. We DON’T care about the spirit cup. We DON’T need new friends. We’re mean and here to win. We don’t have hearts, but we sure do have livers! |

But don't let that fool you into thinking we can't hold our own because for what we lack in numbers, we make up in size...and balls. While others might fault us for not be the most ambitious, hardest working, talented, smart, funny, good looking, no one can deny that we are present. We will be looking to add to our bevy of famous cheers like "Osgoode was my second choice!" |

Dalhousie University Email: lawgames@dal.ca Captain: Matt Huys Co-captain: Sarah Paulson Facebook: Dalhousie Law Games Team 2010 Reputation: "You steal our sailor hats, we steal your spirit cup" Team Schulich, formally known as Dal Law, is looking forward to doing their patron proud with a big medal haul at this year's games. With the school's recent windfall, the Law Games team has been training this past fall with an unlimited budget: Think Globo-Gym meets serious oil-sands cash. Team Schulich is confident that they can buy themselves a championship. The team also plans on introducing Montreal to the affluent east-coast "Schulich-ed up" lifestyle. Money aint a thang. Team Strengths: elaborate legal puns, schmoozing, and drinking responsibly. Team Weaknesses: anything acoustic. |
